Superintendent of Adiala Jail refuses to let Imran talk to sons
Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain ordered the Superintendent Adiala Jail to submit SOPs by October 18.
Rawalpindi: The Superintendent of Adiala Jail refused to allow Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan to talk to his sons over the phone.
According to details, a petition filed by former Prime Minister Imran Khan to allow him to talk to his sons in Adiala Jail on telephone was heard in the Official Secret Act court.
Superintendent Adiala Jail submitted the response in the court of Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain. The superintendent stated: “Under the Official Secrets Act, it is not allowed to let the arrested accused talk over the phone abroad.
The court sought the jail Standard operating procedure (SOPs) from the Superintendent Adiala Jail regarding talking to the inmates on phone.
Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain ordered the Superintendent Adiala Jail to submit SOPs by October 18.
