Islamabad: Pakistan is presently experiencing the third wave of coronavirus which is said to be deadlier and more contagious than previous two waves.

According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 3,265 cases of coronavirus were reported while 126people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 19,336.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 870,703.
As many as 776,315 patients have recovered from the disease with 4,567 critical cases.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 323,314 in the province with 9,265 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 295,483 in the province, while the death toll has reached 4,778.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 125,914 in the province with 3,697 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 23,728 confirmed cases while 255 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 18,129 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 510. On the other hand, there are 5,410 cases in GB with 107 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 78,725 cases in the capital city while 722 people have lost their lives.
