Islamabad: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has appealed to Muslims residing in Europe to raise the voice against Israel’s relentless bombardment on Gaza.

While talking to media, FM said that Muslim Parliamentarians in Europe and Britain can effectively highlight Palestine issue and they should urge international community to make efforts in resolving this ongoing crisis.
“Pakistan is also making efforts to mobilize international community to intervene for the safety of Palestinians from the brutalities of Israeli forces. The entire Pakistani Nation is standing firm and united with Kashmiri and Palestinian brethren to resolve their issues,” he said.
Referring to Afghan issue, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the matter was discussed in the last trilateral meeting held in Turkey.
“We are looking forward to another conference in Turkey after Eidul Fitr to find a way forward in resolving the Afghan issue. Moreover, the border fencing is also being completed. Our soldiers have laid their lives for the protection of borders of Pakistan,” he said.
Palestinian residents of Gaza Strip have marked another deadly Eidul Fitr amid bombardment by Israel.
At least 69 Palestinians, including 17 children and eight women, have been killed as a result of relentless Israeli aerial bombardment over Gaza.
Israeli forces are have targeted police headquarters and security buildings in Gaza as they launched a series of air raids on various locations. It is said to be the most intense airstrikes in Gaza since the bombardment in 2014.
The residents have spent a sleepless night amid heavy bombardment.
