Israeli targets were targeted by Hezbollah on Sunday.

Jerusalem: In response to the increasing exchange of fire and heightened tensions with Hezbollah fighters, Israel has made a crucial announcement, revealing plans to evacuate residents living in 28 villages located within a 2-kilometer radius of its northern border with Lebanon.
This decision by Israel comes in the wake of a significant escalation in hostilities.
On Sunday, Hezbollah launched an attack targeting Israeli locations, resulting in the tragic death of one Israeli and injuring three others.
Additionally, an Israeli intelligence station was destroyed as a direct consequence of Hezbollah's aggressive actions.
The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) issued a statement on Monday, confirming that the Ministry of Defense and the National Emergency Management Authority of the IDF are making arrangements to provide guesthouses for residents living in the northern regions of Israel, within the designated 2-kilometer zone along the Lebanese border.
The evacuation plan is set to be put into action.
The IDF noted that the plan received the approval of Defense Minister Yves Gallant. In addition, the Northern Command has communicated this decision to the local authorities, ensuring a coordinated response to the situation.
As per the statement, the plan's implementation will be overseen by the heads of local municipalities, with support from the Ministry of Interior and the National Emergency Management Authority under the Ministry of Defence.
