In Multan, the people are facing difficulties in getting petrol.

Multan: As soon as the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs40 in one fell swoop, the commodity has become unavailable in the market.
According to details, the cost of petrol has been declined but at the same time it has become scarce. After the drastic reduction in petrol prices by the caretaker government, petrol has disappeared from petrol pumps in many cities across the country. These are the same pumps which were probably filled with petrol earlier suddenly have become empty.
In Multan, the people are facing difficulties in getting petrol and have been demanding from the government to ensure the availability of petrol at every pump.
Earlier in the regime of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) the petrol prices decreased in June 2022, after which people had to face difficulties in getting petrol for many days. The petrol became accessible to the people as soon as the prices were jacked up.
It is pertinent to note that caretaker government has announced a huge reduction of 40 rupees in the prices of petroleum products. According to the notification issued by the federal government, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs40 per liter while the price of diesel has been reduced by Rs15 per liter.
