Justice Alia Neelum accepted the bail plea of Khadija Shah and granted her the bail in the case.


Lahore: The Lahore High Court (LHC) Wednesday granted the bail to Pakistani fashion designer Khadija Shah in two cases of Jinnah House attack and Askari Tower vandalism case on May 09.
According to details, two-member bench of LHC headed by Justice Alia Neelum including Asjad Javed Kharal accepted the bail plea of Khadija Shah and granted her bail in the case.
Reacting to the court decision, the famous designer's husband said, “Thank God, we got the justice”.
Latif Khosa's reaction
Reacting to Khadija Shah's bail decision, the famous lawyer Sardar Latif Khosa said, it is hoped that Khadija Shah will not be arrested again, as in the past they have been arresting people immediately after release.
A week ago, LHC had reserved its verdict on the plea of Khadija Shah for bail. Before that her bail pleas in Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore used to get rejected after which she consulted LHC with a new petition.
It is pertinent to note that there are also many other female worker of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) including Sanam Javed are present in jail on judicial remand who are unable to get the bail pleas approved as they get rejected again and again.
