Mumbai: Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma has been issued three challans by the traffic police for violating traffic rules.
According to Indian media, Rohit Sharma was on his way to Pune from Mumbai for a match against Bangladesh today (Thursday) due to speeding on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.
According to Indian media, traffic department issued the challans against Rohit Sharma online, he is also facing criticism for traveling at high speed in a private car.
The traffic department stated that Rohit Sharma should have traveled in a team bus during the World Cup instead of a private high-speed car.
It is pertinent to note that the teams of India and Bangladesh will face each other in Pune today in the International Cricket Cup (ICC) World Cup 2023.
