Sunak's journey commenced with his arrival in Tel Aviv, the capital of Israel, marking a pivotal diplomatic engagement during these challenging times.
The purpose of his visit includes meetings with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli President to engage in discussions regarding the ongoing conflict in the region.
Subsequent to his stay in Israel, British Prime Minister Sunak is scheduled to visit Egypt and Qatar, aiming to foster dialogue and seek potential solutions to the ongoing conflict.
Upon his arrival in Tel Aviv, Rishi Sunak expressed solidarity, emphasizing that he and the United Kingdom stand firmly by Israel.
He expressed eagerness for forthcoming meetings with Israeli leadership, underscoring the gravity of the situation.
Prior to his visit to Israel, Prime Minister Sunak shared his sentiments, highlighting the tragic loss of civilian lives during the conflict and emphasizing the need for a peaceful resolution.
Meanwhile, British Foreign Secretary James Cleverley, who visited Israel last week, is poised to undertake a diplomatic mission to Egypt, Turkey, and Qatar over the next three days.
