Raj Kundra's film 'UT 69' trailer released
The film aims to reclaim its reputation amid the obscenity scandal.

Mumbai: In a novel twist in Bollywood, the film delves into the life of a famous Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra.
The recently unveiled trailer of 'UT 69' sheds light on the tumultuous life of Raj Kundra, the spouse of Indian actress Shilpa Shetty, focusing on his incarceration.
Raj Kundra faced legal troubles when he was apprehended by the Mumbai Police in July 2021 for his alleged involvement in the production of explicit content. This ordeal led to his two-month-long detention in Arthur Jail.
Since his release, Raj Kundra has been spotted concealing his identity behind various masks and has displayed a degree of apprehension when appearing before the public.
In an interview with an Indian television channel, Raj Kundra shared that 'UT 69' marks his acting debut. Reflecting on the inception of the film, he recounted a humorous incident: "The first time I spoke to Shilpa about this film, she was a few feet away from me. I informed her that I had the script ready and was awaiting her response. She turned away, and a flying slipper landed on my face."
Raj Kundra speculated that his initial pitch may have seemed outlandish to Shilpa, raising doubts about the project's feasibility and the risks involved. However, he affirmed that Shilpa Shetty ultimately overcame her reservations and threw her support behind 'UT 69'.
The film, directed by Shahnawaz Ali, is set to hit Indian theaters on November 3 this year. 'UT 69' tells the story of Raj Kundra's journey through a challenging period in his life, offering a unique perspective on the events that unfolded.
Raj Kundra's legal entanglements related to the production of explicit content led to his arrest in July 2021.
