Islamabad: A case has been registered against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawyer Sher Afzal Marwat in Islamabad Police Station Secretariat.
According to the First Information Report (FIR), Sher Afzal Marwat tortured the police constable yesterday (Thursday).
The case registered against Sher Afzal are under the provisions of murder and obstructing the road.
It is pertinent to note that yesterday when Sher Afzal Marwat reached the Supreme Court to appear in the case of former Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser, he got meddled with a citizen at the gate and the fight escalated into a scuffle.
Sher Afzal Marwat said that the citizen abused him unnecessarily and he did not know the person.
According to eyewitnesses, the citizen had gone to the police station secretariat to file a complaint, while Sher Afzal refused to talk further.
