Nawaz Sharif signs petition to restore appeal against sentence
Nawaz Sharif's legal team had prepared a plea to revive appeals against conviction in the Avenfield and Al-Azizia references.
Islamabad: Former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif Saturday signed a petition to restore appeals against convictions in the Avenfield and Al-Azizia references.
According to details, Oath Commissioner also reached Islamabad Airport for the biometric of Nawaz Sharif.
According to media reports, Nawaz Sharif's plane will leave for Lahore after the signature and biometric process.
Nawaz Sharif's legal team had prepared a plea to revive appeals against conviction in the Avenfield and Al-Azizia references.
It should be noted that earlier Nawaz Sharif's legal team had reached Islamabad Airport on the issue of filing petitions to revive Nawaz Sharif's appeals in Al-Azizia and Avenfield references.
Former finance minister Ishaq Dar, former law minister Azam Nazir Tarar, Amjad Parvez and others also reached the airport.
Barrister Zafarullah Khan is also present at the airport to meet Nawaz Sharif.
