Indian cricketers take a break after winning 5th WC match
India's upcoming match against England is set to be played on October 29.
New Delhi: After clinching their fifth consecutive victory in the ICC ODI World Cup, many Indian players, including captain Rohit Sharma, have decided to take a brief vacation.
In the wake of their thrilling victory over New Zealand, the Indian Cricket Board has granted the players a short break.
Notable cricketers such as KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Jasprit Bumrah, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and others have opted to utilize this time off.
This short respite has been scheduled to prepare for India's upcoming match against England on October 29.
The players are expected to reconvene in Lucknow on October 26.
Indian team's strenuous schedule has made the brief break even more necessary.
During the match on October 22 in Dharamshala, India secured a 4-wicket victory over New Zealand.
The Indian team's undefeated streak in the World Cup has earned them a total of 10 points after winning all five matches.
