Maulana Tariq Jameel has confirmed death of his son and asked the people for prayers.


Mian Channu: Maulana Asim Jameel, the son of renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel, was shot dead by someone in Mian Channu police precinct on Sunday.
Maulana Asim Jameel was shifted to Talamba Rural Health Centre where the doctors pronounced him dead. He was in the critical condition when he was brought there. The doctor said that he received bullets on his chest.
Taking to X, Maulana Tariq Jameel also confirmed the death of his son.
“The accidental death of my son has saddened us all,” said Maulana Tariq Jameel. He also asked the people for prayers at this difficult time.

A Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) said that Maulana Asim Jameel received bullet on his chest and later succumbed to injuries.
The news of the murder of Maulana Asim Jameel spread like fire in the jungle and the people strongly reacted to the incident by sharing the pictures and the shocking news of his murder in the Whatsapp groups.
“We are investigating the matter, and cannot say anything so far,” said the Mian Channu SP.
