Court summons Shehbaz, Hamza in Ramzan Sugar Mills case

Lahore: The accountability court of Lahore has summoned former prime minister Shehbaz Sharif and his son, PML-N Vice President Hamza Shehbaz, in the Ramzan Sugar Mills reference on Tuesday.

The Ramzan Sugar Mills reference was sent back to the court by the NAB Lahore office following a direction from the Supreme Court. Following examination, the court was asked to hear the referral.
The court proceeded and summoned Hamza Shehbaz and Shehbaz Sharif. The father and son have been called before the court on November 29.
Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz are accused of constructing a nullah for their sugar mills worth Rs250 million from the national treasury.
