Renowned fashion designer Khadija Shah, the daughter of former finance minister Salman Shah, filed a bail petition against a case number 109/23 at the Sarwar Road police station in Lahore.

Lahore: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Lahore on Tuesday adjourned the hearing of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Khadija Shah's bail application until November 2.
Renowned fashion designer Khadija Shah, the daughter of former finance minister Salman Shah, filed a bail petition against a case number 109/23 at the Sarwar Road police station in Lahore.
Judge Muhammad Arshad Javed of the Anti-Terrorism Court presided over the case hearing in which Khadija Shah is accused of igniting police cars on May 9 in Rahat Bakery Chowk, Lahore Cantt.
During the hearing, Khadija Shah's lawyer, Sameer Khosa Advocate, presented arguments in favor of her bail application.
Shah's lawyer submitted that Khadija has been granted bail in two cases and now the police arrested her in the third case for malicious intent.
He noted that Khadija Shah had been imprisoned for the previous six months, which prompted pleas for her release.
The investigation officer detailed the charges against Khadija Shah, which relate to the burning of police vehicles in Rahat Bakery Chowk.
The judge agreed to postpone Khadija Shah's bail application until November 2 during the hearing. The court directed the investigating officer to produce the record at the next hearing in order to get everything ready for it.
