The court issued summon notices to 19 accused including Asif Ali Zardari.


Islamabad: The Accountability Court of Islamabad Thursday issued summon notices to former President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari and others in the Park Lane reference.
According to details, Judge Muhammad Bashir of Accountability Court held a hearing on the Park Lane reference against former President Asif Zardari and others.
During the hearing, defense counsel Arshad Tabrez took the position that when the agreement was signed, Asif Ali Zardari was not the director of Park Lane. On which the court judge Bashir said that the notices should be issued now and the rest should be told later.
The court issued summon notices to 19 accused including Asif Ali Zardari. The other accused include Muhammad Iqbal, Younas Qadwai, Iqbal Khan Noori, Hussain Lawai, Abdul Ghani Majeed, Khawaja Anwar Majeed, Muhammad Farooq Abdullah and others.
The Islamabad Accountability Court, while issuing summon notices to the accused, adjourned further hearing of the case till December 20.
