Islamabad: Renowned poet Wasi Shah has been appointed as Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq's Special Assistant for Youth Affairs on Thursday.
The Prime Minister's Special Assistant on Youth Affairs portfolio was reportedly given to Shah, who holds the dual role of Minister of State for Tourism, due to his exceptional performance.
“Majority of Pakistan’s population consists of youth which is our asset for the upliftment of the country. I would do my best to come up with expectation of the caretaker PM,” Shah said.
