Athens: Strong earthquake tremors of magnitude 5.1 have been felt in Greece, after which panic spread among the people.
According to the US Seismological Center, the magnitude of the earthquake was 5.1 on the Richter scale. The Seismological Center recorded the depth of the Greece earthquake at 10 kilometers.
The reports of local media reports stated that aftershocks of 3.7 were also recorded. Authorities have instructed citizens to stay away from tall buildings. However, no loss of life or property was reported.
It is pertinent to note that most undersea earthquakes are common in Greece.
