ECP notifies general elections on February 8

Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Friday notified general elections on February 8, 2024.
According to details, the Election Commission of Pakistan issued a notification of the date of the general election under Section 57 of the Election Act۔
The notice stated that the general elections would be held on February 8, 2024, in accordance with the Supreme Court's ruling.
The Supreme Court set February 8, 2024, as the date for national general elections, and the ECP filed the minutes of their meeting with the president. Following this announcement, the ECP sent out a notification.
