ICC stated that Prasad Krishna has been included in the squad in place of Hardik Pandya.

Mumbai: The Indian team has suffered a major setback in the International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup 2023 as all-rounder Hardik Pandya has been ruled out of the event.
According to the ICC, Hardik Pandya could not get rid of the ankle injury he suffered in the match against Bangladesh.
ICC stated that Prasad Krishna has been included in the squad in place of Hardik Pandya.
Prasadh Krishna has been cleared by the ICC Event Technical Committee and will be available for the match against South Africa on Sunday.
It is pertinent to note that Indian team has qualified for the semi-finals of the World Cup. It is the only team of the World Cup 2023 that has not been defeated so far.
