Fawad was brought before civil judge Muhammad Abbas, where the prosecution read the Fawad-related FIR.

Islamabad: A two-day physical remand of former PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry in connection with an alleged fraud case was approved by an Islamabad district court on Sunday.
According to his wife, the former federal minister was taken into custody on Saturday in Islamabad.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Hiba Fawad said, “Fawad [has been] arrested and taken to [an] unknown place.”
Fawad was brought before civil judge Muhammad Abbas, where the prosecution read the Fawad-related FIR.
Moreover, Fawad's attorney urged the court to dismiss the "bogus" FIR that had been filed against his client during the hearing.
Fawad Chaudhry's plea was subsequently denied by the court, and his two-day physical remand was granted.
