Sixth China International Import Expo starts in Shanghai
Chinese president conveyed his best wishes for the growth of China and its people via foreign investment.
The sixth China International Import Expo (CIIE) has officially started in Shanghai on Sunday.
The Shanghai Conventional Centre is hosting an exhibition featuring over 154 countries, and a significant number of global businesses and entrepreneurs have also made their way there.
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Cuban Prime Minister Marrero, Kazakhstan Prime Minister Smaiylov, Serbian Prime Minister Brnabic and other world leaders attended the sixth CIIE opening ceremony at the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Qiang.
Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang read out a message of congratulations for the expo from Chinese President Xi Jinping at the start of the ceremony.
In his greeting, the Chinese president conveyed his best wishes for the growth of China and its people via foreign investment.
Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang mentioned a few of the prosperous businesspeople from the prior expo in his remarks.
Furthermore, Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang read out a message"China is giving other countries development opportunities in addition to its own development so that we can work together for human development and people can get good business opportunities," the speaker stated.
The fact that more than 3,400 foreign organizations and other businessmen are participating in the show and more than 400,000 individuals have registered to visit the expo, according to official figures, indicates the level of popularity of the 6th Expo in Shanghai.
According to CIIE statistics, 500 companies and market leaders from all over the world are part of the exhibition. There are a large number of foreign journalists from all over the world for the media coverage of the big international expo.
At the Shanghai Iternational Expo, automotive exhibitions, trade of technical and medical equipment, and innovation zones in the agriculture sector are being exhibited.
In the expo, 15 major vehicle brands, 10 major electrical enterprises and five major shipping companies are participating in the exhibition.
The expo aims to bring together the latest technology to expand the world of commerce and innovation.
At the expo, exhibitions are also being held in the field of agricultural technology, which will help in the sale of agricultural products.
The expo will have a special focus on automotive exhibitions and innovation in the field of medical technology, which can bring significant changes to the field of health and technology in the coming days.
After the Belt and Road Initiative was held in Beijing, the purpose of the biggest expo at the international level in Shanghai is to provide a platform under one roof to the developed and underdeveloped countries in the world and lead them on the path of development.
China is now leading other countries in the race for economic development while providing an important platform for foreign businesses to take advantage of China's enormous market potential.
