Smog and fog have covered the plains of Punjab, due to which Motorway M2 has been closed from Khanqan Dogran to Kot Momin.

Lahore: The M2 motorway has been closed from Khanqah Dogran to Kot Momin due to smog and fog.
According to the spokesperson of the Motorway Police, smog and fog have covered the plains of Punjab, due to which Motorway M2 has been closed from Khanqan Dogran to Kot Momin.
The Motorway Police has instructed the road users to avoid unnecessary travel, however in case of travel, people can consult motorway helpline 130 for information.
They also added that the motorways have been closed to ensure public safety and safe travel. People travelling on road should use front and rear fog lights and avoid unnecessary travel.
