Motorway M4 from Shorkot to Pindi Bhattian has been closed due to smog.


Lahore: Motorway from Abdul Hakeem to Gojra has been closed due to smog and reduced visibility.
According to the spokesperson of Motorway, Motorway M4 from Shorkot to Pindi Bhattian has been closed due to smog.
On the other hand, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Lahore Ali Nasir Rizvi has ordered strict implementation of the smart lockdown imposed due to the intensity of smog.
He said that during the smart lockdown, only emergency services will run in the city while all other activities will be stopped.
DIG Operations stated in a wireless message to the police officers that the force will remain active 24 hours a day during the Smart Lockdown.
He added that the police officers should change the behavior of being Romeos and staying in the houses till 10:00 in the morning, how will Lahore work? It is not customary to go home after locking the office at 6 o'clock in the evening and no one should try to do so.
Ali Nasir continued to say that around 50 big and 170 small checkpoints will be installed in the city under which the number of people in the vehicle should also be checked under Section 144.
