The hearing on the appeal against former president's death sentence will be held on November 21.


Islamabad: The Supreme Court Saturday issued a written order to hear the appeal against the sentence of former President Pervez Musharraf.
According to the written order of the Supreme Court, appeal is the right of every criminal, it is unfortunate that the appeal is scheduled for hearing after three years and eight months.
Supreme Court said that despite the chamber orders, the appeal against the objections was not set and the petitioner died. No additional attorney general and senior lawyers present in the court objected to set the appeal. Pervez Musharraf's appeal was accepted against the registrar's objections.
The ruling said that according to Pervez Musharraf's lawyer Salman Safdar, he is in touch with his widow and children. He will take instructions from the former president's family once the appeal is decided. The hearing on the appeal against former president's death sentence will be held on November 21.
