Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali has administered oath to Justice retired Arshad Hussain at the Governor House in Peshawar.


Peshawar: Newly appointed Caretaker Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Syed Arshad Hussain Shah was sworn in Peshawar on Sunday.
Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali administered oath to him.
Chief Justice Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Inspector General, former provincial ministers and other social and prominent dignitaries attended the ceremony.

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has felicitated Justice (retired) Arshad Hussain Shah on taking oath as Caretaker Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He said that after the death of former Caretaker Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Azam Khan, the appointment of retired Justice Arshad Hussain as Caretaker Chief Minister has fulfilled a very important constitutional requirement.
The Prime Minister hoped that the new caretaker Chief Minister will play his constitutional role in improving the administrative affairs of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and supporting the Election Commission of Pakistan in conducting transparent elections.
