Lahore: Following the instructions of caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi, the crackdown against the violation of one dish rule in wedding events has been accelerated across the province.
According to details, Punjab cabinet ministers and officers raided dozens of marriage houses in Lahore, Rawalpindi and other districts after 10:00pm.
In various districts of the province, fines of more than Rs2.5 million have been imposed, more than two dozen people were arrested while five marriage houses were sealed and a dozen were issued warnings.
It is important to mention that Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has issued strict instructions to the administration that no concession should be made to those violating One Dish.
