Magnitude 5.2 earthquake shakes Swat

Swat: Earthquake tremors with a magnitude of 5.2 have been felt in Swat and its surroundings.

After the earthquake in Mingora and its outskirts, people got scared and came out of their houses reciting Holy verses. However no loss of life and property have been reported as yet.

According to the seismological center, the depth of the earthquake was 207 kilometers, while the epicenter was the border region of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Tajikistan.

It should be noted that earthquake shocks were felt in the Mingora area of Swat and its surroundings in the past days also with a magnitude of 4.3 and the center was Afghanistan-Tajikistan border.
