Lahore: Sheikhupura properties of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will be auctioned on May 20.

According to details, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Sheikhupura has set a date to auction properties of Pakistan Muslim Leagu-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo.
Meanwhile, the bidding decision of DC Sheikhupura has been challenged in the Islamabad High Court (IHC).
The petitioner Ashraf Malik in his plea has argued that he had purchased the 88 kanals of land in Sheikhupura from former premier and had also made the payment of Rs. 75 million.
He stated that following the arrest of PML-N leader, the sale deed could not be implemented and he has also moved civil court for the implementation of the sale deed.
Another petitioner named Aslam Aziz has also challenged the decision to auction 105 acres of fruit orchards in Lahore in the court requesting it to halt the process.
“Even my initial investment has been paid off,” the plaintiff added.
