Peshawar: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former provincial minister Shaukat Yousafzai was offloaded from the plane at Bacha Khan Airport, Peshawar.
According to the details, a video statement of Shaukat Yousafzai came out stating that he was going to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah when he was stopped at Bacha Khan Airport.
In his video statement, Shaukat Yousafzai added that after getting the boarding pass and clearance, why was he barred to go out.
The former provincial minister said: ‘Neither my name is in ECL nor there is any First Information Report (FIR) registered against me, however despite this I was stopped at Peshawar Airport’.
Talking to a private news channel, Shaukat Yousafzai said that he was asked to leave after being seated at the airport for several hours. The PTI leader added that he would approach court against this act.
