Islamabad: The federal cabinet that met on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan has approved the sending of relief goods to Palestine.
At the meeting, the cabinet approved the sending of aid to Palestine including medical supplies.
The federal cabinet ratified the decisions of the ECC meeting of paying 40 per cent dues to independent power producers (IPPs).
The federal cabinet gave in-principle approval to exempt the Kartarpur corridor project from Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PAPRA) rules while referring the matter to PAPRA for technical consideration.
The cabinet also approved the transfer of United Nations (UN) vehicles to Kabul via Pakistan.
Issuance of a commemorative coin to mark the 70th anniversary of Pak-China diplomatic relations was also okayed by the cabinet.
The Cabinet also approved the tabling of the annual report of the Election Commission Pakistan (ECP) in Parliament, including the issuance of Statutory Regulatory Orders (SROs) relating to the jurisdiction of the Railway Police.
The federal cabinet also permitted the issuance of passenger and cargo licenses to private airlines.
According to sources of local news channel, the cabinet meeting also deferred the approval of the appointment of the Pakistan Housing Authority Foundation chief executive and the appointment of members of the Electronic Certification Accreditation Council.
Approval to deploy community welfare attache in Pakistani missions abroad was also delayed.
On the other hand, the Cabinet Committee on Institutional Reforms also endorsed the decisions of the Cabinet Committee on Legislation.
