In a press release issued by the Afghan Embassy, it has been said that after the operations of the embassy were stopped on October 01, the decision to close the embassy has been implemented from Thursday.

The press release further said that the decision to suspend the operations of the embassy on September 30 was hoped that the Indian government would take some positive steps for the day-to-day routines with the embassy.

However unfortunately, during these eight weeks of waiting for the extension of diplomats' visas, the behavior of the Indian government was not realistic. Due to which the embassy was under pressure from the Taliban and the Indian government and was facing serious difficulties in continuing its operations.
