Islamabad: Pakistan is presently experiencing the third wave of coronavirus which is said to be deadlier and more contagious than previous two waves.

According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 3,256 cases of coronavirus were reported while 104 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 19,856.
The total number of cases has reached 886,184.
As many as 795, 511 patients have recovered from the disease with 4,361 critical cases.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 329,913 in the province with 9,563 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 301,247 in the province, while the death toll has reached 4,835.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 127,609 in the province with 3,827 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 24,064 confirmed cases while 270 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 18,360 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 519. On the other hand, there are 5,439 cases in GB with 107 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 79,552 cases in the capital city while 735 people have lost their lives.
