Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir visited Khairpur and observed field exercises of Bahawalpur Corps at Tamivali.
Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir Saturday said: “We are well aware of the challenges, Pakistan Army's full attention is focused on defending the borders of the motherland”.
Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir visited Khairpur and observed field exercises of Bahawalpur Corps at Tamivali.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the army chief was briefed about the field exercises.
ISPR said that the purpose of the exercises is to enhance skills to meet future challenges in the operational environment.
According to the spokesperson of the Pakistan Army, the Army Chief interacted with the troops participating in the exercise and instructed them to continue serving the nation with traditional zeal and enthusiasm in all circumstances.
