Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Balochistan has postponed all intermediate exams including FA an FSc across the province in a bid to contain the spread of novel coronavirus.

According to an official notification, the assessments that were supposed to begin on May 25 will be held in the month of June. However, final date in this context is not confirmed yet.
All private and public schools in the province have been closed since the beginning of Ramazan and the educational institutions were supposed to reopen after Eid.
The NCOC later announced educational institutions will stay closed till May 23. A decision regarding it expected to come out today (Wednesday) as a meeting is underway.
It is pertinent to mention here that educational institutions across the country are closed until May 23 to contain virus spread.
On March 18, the federal government had postponed all examinations including those of boards and the Cambridge system till June.
Pakistan is presently experiencing the third wave of coronavirus which is said to be deadlier and more contagious than previous two waves.
In Balochistan, there are 24,064 confirmed cases while 270 patients have died from the infection so far.
According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 3,256 cases of coronavirus were reported while 104 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 19,856.
The total number of cases has reached 886,184.
As many as 795, 511 patients have recovered from the disease with 4,361 critical cases.
