The federal minister further stated: “The foundations of the economy will not be fixed until the problems are resolved".
Islamabad: Caretaker Federal Minister for Information Murtaza Solangi Thursday said that the general election will be held on February 8, there is no doubt about it.
Murtaza Solangi stated in one of his statements that there are law and order problems in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. The country has faced worst situations, however elections have been held.
He added that, ‘Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman used to talk about cold, elections have been held in December as well which is colder than February’.
The caretaker federal minister continued to say that it has become a trend that every political party tries to prove themselves as oppressed as the elections approach. Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) complains that they were not getting a level playing field.
Minister of Information further said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) also complains that they is not getting a level playing field. If there is a legitimate complaint, then the media, the court and the Election Commission are the forums.
The federal minister further stated: “The foundations of the economy will not be fixed until the problems are resolved. The economy did not deteriorate in a day and will not be fixed in a day”.
Murtaza Solangi further added, ‘see Fawad Hasan Fawad's briefing, things are rapidly improving. The privatization list is what the previous government gave us’.
