Defence accident case: Accused Afnan’s father granted interim bail
During the hearing, the lawyer pleaded that the court should order the release of interim bail.
Lahore: The court Friday granted interim bail to the father of the accused in the case of the death of six people due to a car collision in defence, area of Lahore.
According to the details, Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore Judge Abhar Gul heard the case of the death of six family members due to a car collision in the defence.
The petitioner's lawyer said that anti-terrorism provisions were added to the case later. To which the plaintiff's lawyer stated that accused Afnan’s father Shafqat Awan was present on the spot and the police should investigate.
During the hearing, the lawyer pleaded that the court should order the release of interim bail.
After hearing the arguments of the parties, the court reserved its decision on the bail appeal of Shafqat Awan and granted interim bail after some time.
