Caretaker PM Kakar says undocumented economy is diseasing our whole system and if we remained unable to improve our FBR then probably we would fail on many accounts.


Islamabad: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar ul Haq Kakar has stressed the need to improve country's tax system to boost the economy.
Addressing the 12th National Balochistan Workshop today, he categorically said that undocumented economy is diseasing our whole system and if we remained unable to improve our FBR then probably we would fail on many accounts.
Answering question over Kashmir issue, Prime Minister Anwar ul Haq Kakar said this longstanding issue can only be resolved through the implementation of UN Resolutions and no court of any country can decide over it. He reiterated Pakistan's continuously resolve to support Kashmir's just right to self-determination. He said for this purpose we will continue our efforts to highlight the issue at all international fora.
Regarding improvement in Agriculture sector, the Prime Minister said it is a devolved subject after 18th Amendment but still we have some ambitious plans under the SIFC forum for this purpose. He expressed hope that these plans would give positive impact in future.
To a question regarding culture promotion, the Prime Minister urged the private sector to invest in this area through joint ventures with neighboring countries including China, Iran and Central Asian States.
