Army Chief discusses important issues with US Defense Minister

New York: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir in America met with US Defense Minister Lloyd Austin in which important issues were discussed.

According to Pentagon spokesman Major General Pat Ryder, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin hosted Army Chief General Asim Munir at the Pentagon.

During the meeting, the two officials discussed the latest developments related to regional security, potential areas of bilateral defense cooperation were also discussed.

It is pertinent to note that this is the first visit of General Syed Asim Munir to the US as Army Chief.
