Kiran Ashfaq opens up about divorce from ex-husband Imran Ashraf
The actress further said that in this country only girls get divorced, not boys.


Karachi: Model and actress Kiran Ashfaq talked about the reason for her divorce from ex-husband actor Imran Ashraf.
In a podcast, Kiran Ashfaq said that there were many problems in the marriage. The support of a husband is very important which was not there in her marriage.
Kiran Ashfaq stated: “My mother used to tell me only one thing that is to bear and she did not tell anything to my father because she knew that the day he finds out he will not be able to bear it and that is what happened. As soon as my father found out about my divorce, he was hospitalized for five-six days, suffering from mental agony due to the divorce and I did not have the courage to talk to my brothers”.
The actress further said that in this country only girls get divorced, not boys. ‘People tell me if there was a problem, why I didn’t leave earlier, because my mother did not let me leave and told me to bear it’.
She added that she was not allowed to go to any kind of events. She got divorced at the end of August 2022 and they announced the news on social media in October 2022.
Regarding her second marriage, the model said that she did not want to go to Malaysia, her parents came to Pakistan and took her with them. ‘I knew what would happen to me and that's what happened. I got married to Hamza and I am happy with him as he supports me in every way’.
Notably, model and actress Kiran Ashfaq got married for the second time to Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) focal person and political advisor Hamza Ali Chaudhry.
