The seismological center stated that the depth of the earthquake was 11 km.


Islamabad: The earthquake tremors were felt in various areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Azad Kashmir including Islamabad.
According to the Seismological Center, the intensity of the earthquake in different areas including Islamabad was recorded as 4.4.
The seismological center stated that the depth of the earthquake was 11 km while the epicenter was in the southwest of Kashmir.
As of the latest reports, no loss of life or property was reported due to the earthquake in any city.
It is pertinent to note that two days earlier on December 20, earthquake tremors were also felt in Chakwal, including Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Attock.
According to the seismological center, the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded as 3.2, while the depth was 25 km and the epicenter was Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan.
