Police officials stated that support is being provided to the district administration in the anti-encroachment operation.


Lahore: The grand operation of Lahore Police along with the district administration to end the encroachments continues for the third day.
According to the police, a total of 140 cases have been registered and 631 accused have been arrested during the operation.
Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore said that 16 cases have been registered in City Division, 12 in Cantonment, 10 in Civil Lines, 17 in Sadar, 71 in Allama Iqbal Town and 14 in Model Town.
According to the officials, 110 accused in city division, 127 in Cantonment, 73 accused in civil lines have been arrested in anti-encroachment operation.
Police officials stated that support is being provided to the district administration in the anti-encroachment operation which is underway simultaneously at 23 hotspot points of the city. The concerned divisional officers are instructed to be present during the encroachment operation.
