US dollar settles at Rs284 in open market
The value of dollar declined by Rs0.25 and settled at Rs284 in the open market.
Karachi: The foreign currency US dollar has declined against Pakistan rupee by Rs0.19 in the interbank market today.
According to the details, after the decline of Rs0.19 dollar has settled at Rs282.60 in the interbank market.
Yesterday, the dollar closed at Rs282.79 in the interbank.
On the other hand, the value of dollar declined by Rs0.25 and settled at Rs284 in the open market.
Stock Exchange: Mixed trend in first session
The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) had a mixed trend during the first trading session on Friday.
Hundred index ended the first session down 180 points at 62,513.
In the first trading session, deals of 310 million shares were settled at Rs6.5 billion.
The index closed at 62,693 points at the close of business yesterday.
