TikTokker Sandal Khattak has decided to contest upcoming general elections from Peshawar.
According to the reports, the TikTokker has filed the nomination papers for reserved seat for women in Khyber Pakthunkhwa.
Responding to a question about her decision to enter the political arena, Sandal Khattak said that the issues waiting resolutions in her area were the main reason behind her decision to enter the politics.
“I want to serve the people,” she said.
She also talked about women's empowerment and addressed key challenges faced by women in the region, including gas shortages.
Noting the inadequacies in local infrastructure, Khattak expressed confidence in garnering public support and pledged to work towards improving the area's conditions if elected.
The Tiktokker asserted her goal to empower women as decision-makers and highlighted issues pertaining to gas, electricity, and water.
