Petrol price likely to drop on New Year
The price of petrol may be reduced slightly by Rs1.75 per liter for the next 15 days from January 1,
Islamabad: It is likely that Pakistanis will see a reduction in the price of petrol at the beginning of the new year of the next 15 days.
According to media reports, the price of petrol may be reduced slightly by Rs1.75 per liter for the next 15 days from January 1, while the price of high-speed diesel is likely to increase by Rs1per liter.
The finance ministry will decide on the summary suggested by Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) after consulting the caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar.
It is pertinent to note that the price of petrol had declined by Rs15 on December 15 and is being sold at the rate of Rs267.
