Beijing: The capital city of China i.e. Beijing broke the 72-year record of cold this month.

According to foreign media, the temperature in Beijing remained below -10 degrees Celsius for nine consecutive days, which is the first time since 1951 that the temperature in Beijing remained below -10 degrees Celsius for 09 days.

Apart from this, the northern and northeastern parts of China are under the grip of severe frost, while the temperature has dropped to -40 degrees Celsius in some areas.

According to media reports, a severe cold wave hit most parts of China this month. Due to the severe cold, the life system was badly affected in the central Chinese province of Henan, where the heat supply plants were also shut down.
