In a statement, the authority appealed to all institutions and citizens for cooperation saying that legal action will be taken against those who violate the guidelines.

A number of live events and concerts in the emirate were canceled or postponed in the early weeks of the war.
Police stressed that humanitarian solidarity is a well-established culture followed by the Emirate of Sharjah.
According to Emirati media, before the announcement by the police, it was said that Sharjah would have three locations for New Year fireworks.
