Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that people can pay the old fee and get a license until January 9.


Lahore: The Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has gifted people on New Year 2024 as he has stopped the implementation of increase in driving license fee.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that the increase in driving license fee will not be applied until January 9 and people can pay the old fee and get a license.

After the upgradation, the caretaker chief minister virtually inaugurated 36 police stations of the province including the official inauguration of Gulshan Iqbal police station building.
He inspected the building of Gulshan Iqbal police station where there were carpeted jails, new environment, comfortable sofas and chairs and uniformed front desk staff.
Mohsin Naqvi inspected various departments of Gulshan Iqbal police station and inspected the front desk. He also inspected the waiting room, Station House Officer (SHO) room, IT room and meeting room.

The Chief Minister appreciated the initiative of providing the best facilities for the people.
He also congratulated the Inspector General of Police, Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore and Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations.
