Mohsin Dawar attacked during election campaign
DPO North Waziristan stated that Mohsin Dawar had police security, the militants escaped due to police firing.
North Waziristan: Unidentified persons opened fire on the convoy of National Democratic Movement (NDM) chief Mohsin Dawar during election campaign in Miran Shah, area of North Waziristan.
According to the police, multiple bullets hit the front and side mirrors of the vehicle, however Mohsin Dawar remained safe due to the bullet proof vehicle.
The investigating agencies have started the investigation in this regard.
Regarding the incident, District Police Officer (DPO) North Waziristan Rohan Zaib while talking to a private news channel said that the extremists who fired on Chairman NDM Mohsin Dawar were retaliated.
DPO North Waziristan stated that Mohsin Dawar had police security, the militants escaped due to police firing.
He further informed that full-proof security has been provided to Mohsin, he is absolutely safe. The search operation is going on against unknown militants.
