Rawalpindi: The founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan threatened the four members of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) during the hearing saying, ‘I recognize the faces of all of you, I will impose Article-6 on you once I gain power,’ reportedly.
According to the media reports, the hearing of contempt of Election Commission and contempt of Chief Election Commissioner Cases against founder PTI were heard in Adiala Jail where Imran Khan and Fawad Chaudhry were charged.
It has been reported that the PTI founder became furious during the indictment, and issued serious threats to the four Election Commission members during the hearing.
The media reports told that former Prime Minister while addressing the commission members state, ‘I recognize all of you and also know your names, I will impose Article-6 on you after coming to power’.
Imran Khan told the members that the one whom you are doing everything at the behest of will not even be able to save you, stated reports.
Reports further said that the members of the Election Commission were shocked by the threat of PTI founder.
It is pertinent to note that the contempt Election Commission case against Fawad Chaudhry and Imran Khan was heard in Adiala Jail by four-member team of ECP headed by Nisar Durrani including Shah Mehmood Jatoi, Babar Hussain Bharwana and Justice (R) Ikramullah.
ECP had indicted former Chairman PTI and Fawad Chaudhry and adjourned further hearing of the case till January 16.
